1901  SRA established

1905 Lowe cup for Gentleman’s singles established

1909 Isleworth Skiff Marathon introduced 16 mile course to 1913

1914-1918 First World War – no activity

1921 Skiff Marathon reintroduced 9 mile course to 1928

1923 TSVC and DSPC founded

1925 Lowe Cup reintroduced in current format

1928 Skiff marathon reduced to 8 mile course to 1939

1932 WPSC founded

1935 Graham Davies Cup for Gents Doubles introduced

1939-1945 Second World War – no activity

1953 Tiny Knight cup introduced

1955 Lowe bequest to fund Interclub races 

1956 Doubles marathon revived at Walton

1957 Rex Ormiston first SRA president

1959 Ormiston Trophy established

1962 Associate membership introduced

1973 Most Improved Sculler award introduced

1974 Skiff Championships moved to Henley

1976 Ladies Interclub races, Penny Chuter cup introduced

1976 Singles marathon introduced

1977 Ladies Interclub Churchill Trophy introduced

1983 Singles marathon GL Birch cup for Ladies introduced

1984 Wraysbury Long distance scull introduced

2007 DSPC Singles introduced
